In this role you will be play an integral role in the day-to-day operations of the terminal by performing administrative duties.
What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Interact with drivers and operations management.
- Perform data entry of bills of lading.
- Recognize and resolve documentation errors.
- Assist customers with inquiries, including tracing shipments, rate quotes, tariff discrepancies and billing and invoicing questions.
- Perform general clerical duties as assigned, including answering and directing phone calls, filing, data entry and billing.
- Process over, short and damaged freight and related documentation for customer resolution
Qualifications:
Good verbal and written communication skills are required. Good typing/data entry and clerical skills are required. Must be able to follow instructions and procedures. Must be organized and able to multi-task and prioritize workload. Must manage time efficiently and work with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines. Must be willing to work evenings and on an as-needed basis. Experience in billing, collections, tracing, ten-key and OS&D is preferred. Experience in the transportation industry is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and Outlook) is preferred.

The pay range is $19.50 to $21.50.
