Job Description
The FP&A Analyst will support the TACAIR Product Line, which has a footprint in NH and NJ, within the Electronic Combat Solutions (ECS) Business Area in the analysis and reporting of financial results and project salients. The qualified candidate will support TACAIR in its monthly, quarterly, and yearly processes and various other reporting requirements. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to work both independently and as a team member to produce timely, quality products. The candidate will provide leadership for salient responsibilities of the TACAIR finance staff, including providing direction and schedules, establishing priorities, and coordinating activities across program families.

This role is able to be performed in a full-time remote capacity, although the preference is for this individual to reside within a reasonable distance of a BAE Systems facility, preferably either the BAE offices in the Southern New Hampshire region, or Totowa/Wayne, NJ.

Responsibilities include the coordination of product line forecasts for Funding, Sales, EBITA and Cash Flow, preparation of TACAIR quarterly presentations, review of Hyperion forecasts, identification of risks and opportunities, lead Tax and Accounting audits, implementing continuous improvement by review and update of current processes, and performing ad hoc analysis as necessary.

Responsibilities include:
  • Work alongside the TACAIR FP&A Manger and TACAIR Leadership teams for financial salients
  • Support various business cycle reporting requirements. Reporting includes but is not limited to Product Line and Business Area Reviews, QBR, and IBP updates
  • Deliver salient management and analytical support
  • Support product line financial reporting, and track capital, SOAs, and NBF budgets
  • Assist with the cash management process (Aged Trial Balance, Cash Opportunities, Progress Billings)
  • Assist with the Quarterly forecast process
  • Proposal Support as required – Investment Models, Business Cases
  • Adhere to all company mandated business policies and processes
  • Special projects and ad hoc analysis as needed
  • Develop understanding of Program acumen

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Bachelors Degree with 2+ years of related Finance experience (preferred) OR Masters Degree with 0+ years of related experience
  • Strong planning, time management and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven ability to analyze and comprehend financial data
  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of duties
  • Proficient in system tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Hyperion and smartview
  • Prior experience in Finance or FP&A encouraged
Pursuant to a specific U.S. Government contract, selected individual must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $67920 - $115440

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
