The Resort Operations Manager is responsible for all aspects of operations at the Inn and provides support to the Hotel Manager. Directs and coordinates Inns activities to obtain optimum efficiency and economy of operations and maximize full potential with a balanced focus on Inns mission, guests, employees and owners satisfaction.

Operations MANAGER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Oversee day-today operations for Guest Services, Maintenance and Housekeeping. • Provides training to staff. • Provide back-up for guest registrations/check-in/check-out via phone, email or in person. • Monitor the Guest feedback. • Receives and resolves guest complaints and service recovery process. • Participates in the selection of staff and works with new staff member to ensure all onboarding documents are complete prior to first day of work. • Maintains accurate QuickBooks, conducts daily audit of cash flows, assist with revenue management. • Assist with timekeeping for payroll on a weekly basis.
• Adheres to all company procedures and regulations as well as standard operating procedures. • Ensure full compliance to Inn operating controls, SOP’s, policies, procedures and service standards. • Performs daily, weekly and monthly property inspections and safety meetings as required. • Ensures property, grounds, physical plant and work areas maintained to standard. • Provides oversight to maintenance, housekeeping and groundskeeping departments as needed. • Builds strong working relationships and communications with staff to ensure maximum operating effectiveness and fulfilment. • Procures inventory in all areas to make sure that all required Inn supplies are ordered and stocked in advance of need. • Performs periodic audits on rooms and other operating areas. • Provide effective leadership to staff and promotes a culture of teamwork. • Ensure Inn staff are provided with uniforms and upholds property grooming standards. • Ensures effective, timely and accurate communications flow with regards to Inn policies and procedures.
