This opportunity is for a full-time Special Education Teacher position in Kingston, NH, supporting students in Life Skills classrooms. The role serves two caseloads: one for middle school (6th-8th grades) and one for high school (9th-12th grades). This position involves working within a school setting and includes travel requirements.
Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students in Life Skills classrooms. • Provide specialized instruction tailored to students' unique learning needs. • Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote student growth. • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instruction as needed. • Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications: • Valid Special Education teaching certification. • Experience working with middle and/or high school-aged students in Life Skills programs. • Strong communication and collaboration skills. • Ability to manage a full caseload effectively. • Commitment to student success and inclusive education.
Location: • Kingston, New Hampshire.
Schedule: • Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
