The University of New Hampshire Psychological and Counseling Services (PACS) invites applications for a per diem mental health clinician. We are seeking a clinician licensed in NH with demonstrated clinical skills who is ready to serve the mental health needs of graduate and undergraduate students at the University of New Hampshire Psychological and Counseling Services (PACS). We seek a clinician who has demonstrated competencies in crisis management, case management, and counseling. We seek excellence through diversity and inclusion. Duties/Responsibilities

(65%) • Provide individual and group therapy. • Provide intakes, walk-in and emergency appointments. • Diagnose students using current nationally and internationally recognized diagnostic systems, utilizing appropriate empirically validated psychological instruments and/or techniques. • As a function of diagnosis, develop and implement treatment plans based upon evidence-based practices in the field of mental health. • Refer as indicated for psychiatric evaluation, specialized treatment, and/or long-term therapy as appropriate. • Maintain files to document counseling contacts. • Provide clinical services in accordance with current professional standards and adhere to all pertinent local, state, and federal laws governing the practice of counseling.

(20%) • Provide outreach programming services for the campus community. • Conduct workshops and programs designed to address the needs and/or concerns of students, faculty and staff. • Serve as consultant to faculty, staff and students on matters relating to the well-being of students, and to other programs. • Serve as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team.

(15%) • Provide supervision and/or training to doctoral level trainees. • Perform other related duties, as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience: • M.A., M.S.W., Ph.D. or Psy.D. in mental health related fields

Required Licenses & Certifications: • Terminal degree and licensure in NH

Compensation Pay Range

$100/Hour
