What we need: We need manufacturing assembly associates that take pride in their work, have a great work ethic, and want to grow with our company. Previous manufacturing a plus but not required, we will train the right person who has great attention to detail, positive personality and can work independently or within a team. We need associates who understand the vital work we do and can follow instruction.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
The primary purpose of the Production Assembler is to assemble lifesaving medical devices in our World Class Manufacturing facility.

MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • The Assembler will work in manufacturing environment
  • Assemble products per assembly process specifications
  • Conduct product testing under supervision of engineers
  • Maintain all log books and lot control information per standard operating procedures
  • Read prints and follow routing forms
  • Inspect work-in-process to documented quality standards
  • Use measurement tools and to compare measurements to documented standards.
  • Understanding of material handling and control procedures such as lot control, line clearance forms, and material requisition forms
  • Determines methods and sequence of assembly operations where complete information is not readily available.
  • Assembles, disassembles, repairs and reassembles using blueprints, sketches, engineering specifications and standard testing equipment.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge/Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED
Job Experience:
  • At least 1 year experience in manufacturing preferred
Skills/Competencies:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well independently and with fellow team members
  • Attention to detail and organization skills
Physical Requirements:
  • Excellent vision and hand-eye coordination
  • Extended periods of sitting, lifting, reaching and standing
  • Significant use of hands, wrist and elbow
  • Occasionally required to lift up to 20 lbs.
  • Must be able and willing to wear personal protective equipment as required including: Protective gowning (Hairnet, Safety Shoes covers, Gown/Apron, Safety Glasses)
