Goodhue Boat Company is growing, and we are looking for smart, motivated, and dedicated people to join the team! Our Meredith marina location has an immediate opening for a full-time and part-time Marine Detailer & Aesthetic Technician. Our service department specializes in the maintenance, repair, and detailing of most makes and models of boats. As a Marine Detailer & Aesthetic Technician for our company, you will ensure that customers receive an impeccable detailed boat inside and out.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

· Clean boats according to company standards or client specifications, which may include performing detail inspections, thoroughly washing, buffing, and waxing exteriors, vacuuming, steaming, and deodorizing interiors.

· Operating buffers, steamers, hoses, vacuums, and other equipment to meet service expectations.

· Using cleaning, protective, and restorative agents to maintain and enhance the appearance of boats.

· Keeping a clean and organized work area.

· Other duties as needed.

Qualifications:

· No previous experience needed. Will train.

· Previous auto detailing experience a plus.

· Attention to detail.

· Good organization skills.

· Ability to ascend and descend a ladder.

· Ability to work in all weather conditions.

· Ability to lift 50 pounds.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

· Ability to provide exceptional customer service and an understanding of customers’ needs.

· Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills while working both independently and within a team environment.

Education:

· Minimum of High School degree or equivalent

Salary:

$16-$18 per hour, based upon experience.
