Full-time Registered Nurse: Flexible Schedule

Aspire Living & Learning is a private, non-profit organization serving adult individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the community setting. Aspire is currently accepting applications for a full-time Registered Nurse to join our team. Aspire nurses are responsible for working collaboratively in overseeing the quality of healthcare for individuals served by the agency. This involves understanding the particular needs of each individual on their assigned caseload; ensuring staff and home care providers are attending to all identified medical needs/scheduled medical appointments; complying with He-M 1201 state regulations and Aspire policies and procedures; training and educating for all staff and providers on essential health-related matters, healthcare coordination and medication administration; providing on-going consultation and support to individuals and their care team; serving as a liaison between individuals' healthcare practitioners and the care team as needed. The position also requires maintaining active RN licensure status through continuing education. We are looking for someone with the ability and motivation to work from home as well as from the office as needed with flexible daytime hours. On occasion, there is the need to travel to clients homes on your caseload.

Description of Responsibilities:

  • Complete clinical assessments and review individual health records
  • Conduct Quality Assurance reviews
  • Train and support staff and home providers in medication administration
  • Provide clinical consultation to teams to support health of individuals served
  • Assist in maintenance of program certifications
  • Prepare reports on medication administration outcomes
  • Participate in statewide management and policy-making committees
  • Serve as a change agent and leader

Required Experience:

  • Must have active and unencumbered Registered Nursing License
  • Must be able to qualify to be a nurse trainer for the state of NH.
  • Applicant must have worked as a licensed nurse two of the past five years; one of which as a licensed Registered Nurse.
  • Must be willing and able to utilize electronic medical records for all documentation
