Acxiom's Automotive Strategy team is at the forefront of developing solutions that help automakers, automotive dealers and manufacturers and retailers in motorsports and RVing ethically use data to better understand and connect with current and potential customers. The Automotive Strategy team is responsible for scoping and defining use cases and building technology solutions that deliver value to clients and help generate revenue for Acxiom's business. In addition, the Automotive Strategy team is responsible for creating thought leadership that is relevant to companies in the automotive, motorsports and RVing industries and helps build Acxiom's brand in the marketplace by, among other things, opening doors with C-Suite executives and other influencers and decision-makers and creating opportunities to present insights at industry conferences, to industry trade groups, etc.

The Automotive Strategy team seeks an intern working toward a bachelor's or master's degree in business administration (BA or MBA). As part of their studies, ideal candidates should be focused on marketing analytics, data science and visualization, business analysis and (but not limited to) statistics and market research. Familiarity with data platforms, analytics and visualization solutions like Google Cloud Platform, Google Analytics, Tableau and Looker is also preferred.

This role will partner with the director of industry strategy for the Automotive practice and other strategists on the team to:

+ Conduct market research supporting efforts to scope, create and launch products and solutions, including but not limited to drafting use cases, conducting competitive research, scoping revenue potential and drafting business cases.

+ Help coordinate and prepare for activities designed to build Acxiom's reputation and relationships in the automotive industry, including materials used to test products and solutions with focus groups, presentations where Acxiom's automotive experts are speaking, etc.

+ Support research and collect other content used to author leading industry thought leadership.

As a professional, the intern should possess and be passionate about data-driven storytelling, take initiative and proactively share ideas, be open to and able to adjust based feedback, and be eager to learn and challenge themselves to grow.
