Medical Assistant Part/Full-time Job Opening

Fusion Health Services is currently seeking a full-time medical assistant.

Who we are:

Fusion Health Services is a private multispecialty outpatient practice that focuses on delivering the highest quality care to patients in the community.

We are seeking a highly organized individual with the following abilities:

• Main Clinical and Administrative duties
• Take vitals and document them
• Facilitate patient intake process
• Assist with scheduling
• Prepare patients and rooms for appointments
• Enter medications and other health information into computer system
• Work with pharmacies to transmit medication refills
• Assist providers with any patient-related tasks
• Conduct prior authorizations for patients
• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times and adhere to HIPAA standards
• Maintain a calm, kind, compassionate demeanor when speaking with patients and staff
• Work as a team to provide the highest quality care to at-risk patient populations (Substance use & Behavioral Health)
• Basic understanding of clinical tasks and terminology a plus, but not essential

Experience:

• Behavioral health or substance abuse: 1 year (Preferred)
