We have an immediate need for an experienced Custom Millwork Fabricator. The key markets that we serve are medical, educational, hospitality, and other commercial environments, and there is a high demand for our quality work.

Job Duties:

· Fabricate custom millwork by studying blueprints, drawings, specifications; calculating parts, components, materials, and supply requirements; obtaining and selecting wood, materials, and supplies, while using the latest equipment and tools.

· Cut and shape wood components by determining appropriate methods for cutting, shaping, and assembling parts; setting-up and operating equipment, including power saws, sanders, routers, and nailers; programming computer-aided equipment (this is a bonus); measuring and marking materials; verifying dimensions; trimming parts using hand tools, chisels, wood files, and sanders.

· Assemble units by attaching parts and components using fasteners and adhesives; verifying dimensions; trimming and adjusting parts, and final assembly of an accurate finished product.

Eligibility Requirements:

· Minimum of 5 years’ experience in architectural millwork or custom woodworking shop environment.

· Must be able to read and interpret shop drawings accurately.

· Strong understanding of materials, hardware, and fabrication methods.

· Deep knowledgeable of various commercial woodworking machines and hand tools.

· A strong work ethic, punctuality, and a willingness to work overtime is important.

Pay range is $24-$32/hr depending on experience and talent/skill. ($500 signing bonus available)

Entry level positions also available starting between $14-$16/hr depending on experience and talent/ skill. ($200 signing bonus available)
