Position Overview

Telemynd is looking for mental health counselors to provide quality, individualized treatment to our growing network of clients. Today, Telemynd works with over one thousand licensed clinicians and prescribers across all 50 states who serve their clients via our behavioral health platform.

Clinician Responsibilities and Position Requirements:

  • Provide quality clinical assessment and treatment, interventions and care based on established best practices and medical necessity guidelines
  • Complete diagnostic assessments and develop measurable treatment plans to meet needs and goals of clients
  • Complete diagnostic assessment tools that support and correspond with client’s clinical presentation
  • Complete encounter notes capturing each client session and interaction within established timeframes
  • Complete clinical documentation in compliance with payor standards
  • Maintain clear, up-to-date patient records and communications in HIPAA compliant EHR
  • Respond within reasonable timeframe to client questions
  • Provide culturally sensitive, client-centered care
  • Work collaboratively with members of Telemynd’s support teams
  • Provide community referral sources as required throughout care and at discharge
  • When relevant, coordinate care with prescriber, PCP, or other collaterals
  • Maintain a confidential and professional looking virtual office space
  • Remain in compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Maintain good standing with all licensing boards
  • Complete all required continuing education requirements for licensure and specializations

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
  • Effective communication skills with prescribing partners, clients, and others
  • Strong technology skills sufficient to work within a modern EHR, deliver telehealth services, send/receive e-mails, and complete online training requirements
  • Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly to maintain confidentiality
  • Effective time management, organizational, and prioritization skills
  • Ability to communicate with diplomacy, respect, and professionalism
  • Demonstrated knowledge of HIPAA Confidentiality and Privacy Policies
  • Competent, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work collaboratively with both senior clinical and non-clinical staff
  • Demonstrated skill in applying varied interventions with individuals/families in crisis
  • Working knowledge of family systems and their impact on mental health
  • Working knowledge of trauma informed care, attachment styles, and clinical presentation across the lifespan
  • Ability to provide necessary self-care and demonstrate appropriate professional boundaries and behavior
  • Awareness of personal strengths and limitations

Requirements:

  • Master's level degree or above, with current independent license in each state of practice - LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, LCPC, PhD/Psyd, etc.
  • At least one year of independent practice

Reporting Accountability:

  • Reports to the Clinical Director

Job Type:

  • 1099 Contractor position, flexible hours

Pay:

  • Typical earnings for therapists in our network range between $100K-$135K per year
