Concord Orthopaedics Patient Care Coordinator Sign-On Bonus

Starting Salary: $18/hour, commensurate with experience

$1,000 Sign-On Bonus payable quarterly starting after 90 days of successful employment

Concord Orthopaedics is committed to providing the highest quality of Orthopaedic care available in Northern New England. The goal of the Patient Care Coordinator is to provide services that enhance quality service to patients, physicians, and co-workers.

The Patient Care Coordinator has a working relationship with one or more physicians and will be responsible for insuring that physician needs are met consistently with overall practice guidelines.

Job Duties:

• Call center position focused on patient care, answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and providing support for patient's requests
• Entering and confirming patient demographics and checking patients' insurance eligibility
• Review provider schedules 2-3 weeks in advance to ensure appropriate appointment types and all necessary records have been received
• Preparing and processing paperwork for patients upcoming surgery including disability and FMLA paperwork and handicap placard paperwork
• Processing incoming documents for referrals for appointments, laboratory results and medical records
• Timely response to patient and provider messages

Qualifications

• High school diploma
• Medical Assistant certification is desired
• Medical terminology skills or extensive experience working in a fast-paced environment preferred

• Experience working with the public.
