New Hampshire 9-1-1 is looking to fill multiple vacancies in our Internationally Accredited Public Safety Answering Points (PSAP) located in both Concord, NH and Laconia, NH. Our PSAPs are staffed 24/7/365 with telecommunicators that are highly trained in Emergency Medical Dispatch as well as Public Safety Telecommunications. Every day, they provide the highest level and quality of service to visitors and residents of New Hampshire who need emergency assistance. New hires will receive 16 weeks of paid classroom and on-the-job training which includes New Hampshire geography, caller management techniques, CPR certification, and medical dispatch. Prospective candidates should possess experience in a customer service related field with a high volume of interaction as well as a high school diploma or equivalent. Education: High school diploma or high school equivalency credential. Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience.

Experience: Five years of experience in a service-oriented position such as paramedic, firefighter, emergency medical technician, dispatcher, law enforcement, public safety, food service, teacher, outside customer service, or a related field, involving a high volume of interactive public contact, requiring the need for quick response and accuracy, as well as multitasking ability, while working in a stressful environment.
