Position Overview:

As an Inventory Specialist, you will play a vital role in managing and optimizing our inventory of footwear products. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring stock levels, conducting regular audits, implementing inventory control procedures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate inventory counts. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and a deep understanding of footwear inventory management.

What you will do:

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of footwear inventory control, including receiving, storing, and distributing footwear products.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure accurate inventory levels and identify any discrepancies or issues.
  • Develop and implement effective inventory control procedures and best practices to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with the purchasing department to ensure timely and accurate replenishment of inventory.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to forecast demand and maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Monitor product expiration dates, quality control, and overall product integrity.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and optimize inventory levels.
  • Utilize inventory management software systems to track and update inventory records.
  • Identify and resolve any inventory-related discrepancies or issues, working closely with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Prepare regular inventory reports and provide insights and recommendations to management.
Requirements:


You will be great for this role if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or similar role in the footwear industry.
  • Solid understanding of inventory management principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with footwear products, styles, and sizing systems.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in managing inventory records.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
