Job Summary:

The Experienced Automotive Sales Consultant plays a crucial role in our dealership's success by actively engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and guiding them through the car-buying process. This role involves demonstrating in-depth knowledge of our vehicle inventory, financing options, and aftermarket products to assist customers in making informed decisions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of achieving sales targets, delivering exceptional customer satisfaction, and fostering long-term client relationships.

Responsibilities:

Customer Engagement: Greet customers with a warm and friendly attitude, actively listen to their preferences, and provide personalized assistance throughout the car-buying journey.

Product Knowledge: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the vehicles in our inventory, including features, specifications, pricing, and available add-ons, to present them convincingly to customers.

Sales Excellence: Utilize strong sales techniques to showcase the value of our vehicles and additional services, effectively negotiate deals, and close sales while meeting or exceeding monthly targets.

Customer Needs Assessment: Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify the best-fit vehicles for each customer based on their lifestyle, budget, and preferences.

Test Drives: Arrange and accompany customers on test drives, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience while highlighting the unique selling points of the vehicles.

Financing Options: Collaborate with the finance department to explain financing and leasing options, assisting customers in understanding the terms and finalizing paperwork.

Customer Follow-up: Maintain regular communication with customers, including post-sale follow-ups, to ensure their satisfaction and build lasting relationships.

Market Awareness: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and changes in vehicle technology to remain a knowledgeable resource for customers.

CRM Utilization: Efficiently manage customer information and interactions using our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.

Team Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues across departments to ensure a seamless and efficient sales process for customers.

Requirements:

Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of successful automotive sales experience, preferably in a dealership setting.

Sales Skills: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, exceptional negotiation skills, and the ability to handle objections effectively.

Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of automotive features, specifications, and technology, along with a genuine passion for cars.

Customer-Centric: Dedication to delivering outstanding customer service, with the ability to build trust and rapport with customers.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey information clearly and persuasively.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address customer concerns and find suitable solutions.

Team Player: Willingness to collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.

Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in using CRM software and other digital tools to manage customer interactions and sales processes.

Availability: Flexibility to work weekends and extended hours as needed to accommodate customer schedules.
