Compensation: $30 per hour
Needed: Models for figure drawing at an Art Studio in Manchester, NH. Models should be flexible, able to make short dramatic poses and also hold simple seated or reclining positions for up to 20 min at a time. *Models pose "undraped", which means nude.
Each drawing session is 2 hours. Models are compensated at the end of each session. Please be available Sundays, 1-3pm.
Experience preferred. This position is open to ages 24-90. As artists, we appreciate models with pronounced facial features, and those who are thin, boney, beefy or plus-sized.
We rotate between male and female models weekly.
If it's worth the effort and you find it's something you want pursue, it can be a regular gig.
*Please specify your age and gender when applying. This is so the Studio can maintain a variety of models for the artists.

Art House Studios is a creative space dedicated to the study of Drawing and Painting. Courses and workshops are focused on strengthening perception and technical skill through both an academic and conceptual approach.
Short-term and theme-based projects enable students to engage a thorough exploration of media and ideas.
Demonstrations and exercises in mark-making, contour line, color, and use of light and shadow are designed to strengthen technical ability through direct observation and experimental processes. The goal is to increase our understanding and use of the basic principles and elements of visual organization.
Each of us are working with a different level of skill and experience. At Art House, our intention is to guide students from where they are and build upon that. We take an academic approach to making art, yet never forgetting the importance of serious play. Novice, intermediate and advanced classes offered. Private lessons are available by appointment.
