Customer Service Representative
To act as the first point of contact receiving incoming communication that includes a wide spectrum of customer service support requests.
Attend to all questions and inquiries in a highly professional manner and effectively convey information internally and externally. Perform full scope of customer service tasks including problem solving, trouble shooting, and cultivating excellent relationships Kimball Physics customers and teammates. The ability to promote Kimball Physics image in a positive manner.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming order volume received via phone and email
- Handle case management activities related to inquiries and orders
- Interact with customers to ensure accurate information
- Accurate sales order entry and management as it relates to inventory, pricing, technical inquires, and shipping information
- Initiate corrective actions to handle customer accommodations independently by using good judgment in routine cases
- Assist with any received complaints
- Maintain and update customer profiles and confirm, payment terms, carrier, and freight terms match their account profiles
- As needed, follow up with new accounts to identify and correct account discrepancies
- Attend any product or technical training when scheduled
Required Skills:

Qualifications:
- 5 years customer service or call center
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience with a technical company a plus but not required
