Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Assist customers with order placement, pricing, and order tracking.
- Manage orders in customer service database including order coding and carrier assignments.
- Develop and continuously cultivate professional knowledgebase for expedient inquiry resolution, including: company warranties, terms of sale, rebates, product pricing, and freight costs.
- Manage customer complaints from initial report through resolution and customer feedback.
- Track promotions, rebate programs, warranty issues, trade show budgets, and other miscellaneous sales lists.
- Cross-train to maintain optimum departmental functionality.
- Support sales team by working with representatives, dealers, and end-users on future orders and equipment details.
- Provide order support to Accounting, Engineering, Technical Services, and Shipping departments.
- Develop working knowledge of international shipping order requirements for export air, ocean shipments, and export documents to accompany goods.
- Responsible for traceability, inventory control, and all associated departmental paperwork and record keeping.
- Adhere to all departmental and company-wide safety and procedural policies.
- Notify supervisor of any quality or production problems.
Requirements
Education and/or Experience
- Associate's degree required, unless management can identify extensive experience in essential duties as listed.
- Experience with US exporting, importing, and customs rules, regulations, and documentation a plus.
