Community Bridges is looking for a full-time
Receptionist for the Administrative Support in Concord, NH!

We are a non-profit agency founded in 1982 with a mission to advance the integration, growth, and interdependence of people with developmental disabilities within their own communities. Building on the strengths of over 1,100 individuals in the greater Capital Area and their families, we work to identify barriers of access and find creative solutions to develop meaningful community engagement.


The Receptionist is responsible for providing premium customer service to every caller and guest of the agency. This position provides administrative/clerical support to the Individual and Family Support Department and as necessary provides support for agency-wide projects.


Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience: Six months to one year experience in a secretarial or clerical position


Compensation and Benefits:

  • The starting rate for this position is $17.50 per hour. There is a $1000 sign-on bonus for this position - $500 will be paid at the time of hire and $500 will be paid after 6 months in the role. *Please note, sign-on bonuses are for new hires only. Re-hires and transfers are not eligible at this time.
  • Paid Time Off: For a full-time employee working 40 hours a week, 264.16 hours of Paid Time Off is received per year! PTO days will increase over the years based on longevity and there is no waiting period to start using your PTO!

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receptionist/Front Desk Management – Answers all incoming calls in a timely and courteous manner. Greets and assists guests as they come to the lobby. Notifies staff or deliveries distributes faxes received and keeps lobby neat and tidy.
  • Incoming and Outgoing Mail – Prepares outgoing mail daily by 9:30 am, date stamp, separates, and distributes incoming mail.
  • Reports and Letters: Assists the IFS Department and Business Office with reports, letters uploading, and tracking. Processes data entry into various platforms.
  • Invoicing and Mileage – Processes approved invoices into check requests for the Facilities and Fleet department related to Community Bridges owned properties through expense tracking database. Calculates and tracks mileage for van fleet. Processes Sam’s Card and Market Basket (START Center only) invoices for payment. Enters receipts in the expense database.
  • Other Duties – Maintains the Receptionist Job aid as needed to stay current at all times. May be asked to assist with their administrative tasks when asked by the Senior Office Administrator.


Required Skills:

  • Maintain a high level of communication skills at all times.
  • Experience with working in a networked environment.
  • Intermediate MS Word Skills including creating and modifying tables and performing mail merges.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

  • Work Environment- Work Environment is occasionally hectic with occasional periods of high stress. Occasional to moderate short deadlines and coverage require flexibility in schedule.
  • Physical Demands—the physical demands of the job, including bending, sitting, lifting and driving.
