DESCRIPTION

Job Purpose:


The Operations Associate is responsible for assisting the Operations Leadership in the daily management of the department by performing administrative tasks and assisting in daily business operations of HAP.


Essential Functions:


  • Schedule and monitor department’s daily and monthly assignments to ensure timely completion.
  • Provide feedback on department policies and procedures and communicate concerns to management prior to impacting productivity/AR/Cash.
  • Train and mentor staff (could be team members or other department members) in process and procedures
  • Communicates professionally and effectively with clients, client service managers and vendors.
  • Cooperate with different departments to improve business operations.
  • Inform Leader of any personnel or work issues that arise

Additional Functions:


  • Provide feedback to staff in a professional manner
  • Perform department monthly processes, transfers, etc. as assigned.
  • Assist team in meeting daily or monthly goals as needed
  • Follow standardized processes and procedures
  • Assist with facilitating team meetings, brainstorming and problem-solving sessions.
  • Take and pass all training courses assigned by HAP within given deadlines
  • Complete HAP’s annual compliance training with a score of 80% or above.
  • Additional duties as assigned.



POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge and Skills:


  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to plan, organize and prioritize work in multiple situations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Proactive qualities with the willingness to learn.

Education and Work Experience:


  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years’ experience in revenue cycle processes preferred.
