Barlo Signs International is a leading Signs Manufacturer for more than 50 years. We are expanding and looking for a Property Maintenance Technician. In addition to taking care of the property maintenance, this will also include the assistance of the Shop for the Loading/Unloading of the Crane Trucks & Trailers, for the QC'ing of outsourced products as well as assistnce for the preparation of Crates and the loading of Signs per DOT standards of the trailers for our Seasoned Journeymen. There will be a training period with the existing employee in charge of the above duties at the moment who is working art time and will retire in a couple of years.

The working environment is outside, we need somebody dynamic, not afraid to wake up early and take instructions from experienced Employees. Safety first. The candidate should also be able to use a computer in order to communicate and assist internally and externally, eventually record the receiving documents provided by the Vendors. Assistance for the inspection of the Signs manufactured outside will be required within 24 hours from reception. Additional tasks related to the Facility Maintenance, as well as to systematically empty the containers and the old dismantled signs in compliance with environment standards and other duties related to fleet maintenance and follow-up are part of the job duties.

Duties include:

- Coordinate with the Shop Manager and Builders, as well as with the Facility Manager,

- A good understanding of the Safety and Environmental Matters,

- The utilization of Barlo Signs cloud based CRM/ERP (Keydin Signs) after an internal training period if necessary,

Requirements:

- Forklift Driver's License

- Experience of property work

- If possible a CDL License

- Good communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments.

- The job holder should be a hard worker, not afraid to work outside and be "open minded" and ready to accept the remarks of his colleagues.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
